So in the last blog post, I threw at you that tough pill to swallow called ACCEPTANCE. We can’t change our family members but this holiday season we can change ourselves to better handle the fuckery (sorry for the language but I just love that word).
The first step to that change is accepting our family for who they are. The second part of that change calls on us to really own our truths.

I was chatting with one of my Vibrant Chicks yesterday about fear of change and feeling stuck. Feelings that when intertwined can set you on a holding pattern that can last for months…years.
How often do we find our selves feeling stuck, helpless, lost?
This summer, my social media platforms have been full of varying negative opinions (some downright awful), unsupported information, and disturbing visuals.
I was repeatedly seeing posts centered around fear, hate and division. I was saddened to see various people’s opinions on the matter. I quickly went on a social media cleanse, unfriending and hiding people who’s opinions were hateful and ignorant.
I really want to protect the quality of the information I’m taking in day-to-day.
